Writing a Drug Prescription Note
Verinotes allows progress notes, lab prescriptions, drug prescriptions, and referrals to
be written without typing or transcribing. Verinotes can be used to create printable drug prescriptions.
Step 1: Goto patient's drug prescription tab
The patient's chart contains sections for every type of clinical charting.
Step 2: Drug prescription form
Clicking the 'write drug prescription' link will take you to the drug prescription form.
Step 3: Select a template
Templates are saved drug prescription forms. This allows you to automatically fill out the form using pre-set values.
Step 4: Verify prescription data
All pre-set values can be changed, if necessary.
Step 5: View saved drug prescription
After saving, the prescription will go into the drug rx and progress notes tab.
Step 6: View printable drug prescription
The prescription is also available for actual prescription printing.
